After almost a decade together, Audiofly have become one of the leading musical partnerships of the electronic music movement. Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito have spent the past eight years fine-tuning their individual skills, exchanging ideas and combining their enthusiasm, resulting in an unstoppable DJ and production duo. Their debut album ‘Follow My Liebe’ is slated for release in early 2011 on Get Physical, sure to further propel them further to the top of the dance music tree.
The past three years have seen Audiofly rise above the underground and embrace global recognition. Their tireless dedication to exploring the boundaries of contemporary dancefloor music has left a mark in the consciousness of the house and techno world. Their Supernature label was launched two years ago and has acted as a launch pad for artists such as Alex Niggemann Ali Nasser, Amelie and Boris Horel. It commands the respect of labels ten times its age due to a refined approach to current house and techno. Next year a sibling label will be launched, Maison D’Etre will introduce a fresh slew of talent and enlighten followers to a new side of the duo’s sound, one that welcomes diversity and is not afraid to take risks.
Over the past few years Audiofly have built their successful series of events, Flying Circus, into a global brand, hosting stand-apart events at WMC and Sonar amongst others. A global Flying Circus tour will begin in 2011, with initial dates in NYC, Playa Del Carmen and a charity jungle party in Mexico igniting the festivities, featuring some of their associated artists and peers and promising some envious talent and unrivalled vibes.
Audiofly are continually invited to headline some of the world’s most prestigious night spots such as Fabric, Warung, Amnesia and have held well-lauded residencies at Space in Ibiza ensuring them an ever-increasing army of followers at all reaches of the globe. The pair’s groovy, melodic and undulating take on house music has long been admired and supported by some of the leading imprints. Desolat will feature them on their winter sampler 2010 and the first EP from their artist album ‘Fela’ will be unleashed on Get Physical before the year is out. Early runaway releases on as Mood Music, Kickboxer and Renaissance gave them the momentum to reach the higher rungs of the dance music ladder, from which they continue to climb.
